Language Registers

Language Registers is a kind of language that is appropriate to a particular situation or context. Registers is the levels of formality or informality and the tones that are correct for specific context, registers can be either written or spoken language. There are five types of registers they are frozen, formal or academic, consultative, casual or informal and intimate registers. When people are not familiar with registers they mistakenly treat every situation or person the same way, not realizing one’s eventual choice of registers is made.
